    The beginning of Bright Bites

    The name on the desks is the foundation we're building toward. Today it's a family promise; as KendiKids grows, it becomes yours too.

A Nourished Body for a Bright Mind

We work with Sister Lucy of Our Lady of Good Shepherd International Foundation and the daycare she runs in Meru, Kenya. Our first commitments there have been the children's hall furniture and playground. From the 2027 school year, Bright Bites begins providing their daily meals.


We believe that a nourished body is the foundation for a nourished mind. Bright Bites will give these children the healthy meals they need to learn, grow and thrive, funded by our founder to begin with, and by every KendiKids order as we grow.

A Bond Forged in Gratitude

Our partnership is deeply personal. Sister Lucy was the guiding light in Kendi's own childhood, offering not just shelter and education, but unwavering belief and love. She provided the nourishment that allowed Kendi to become the entrepreneur she is today.

Working with Sister Lucy is our way of continuing a beautiful cycle of empowerment. We trust her completely to direct our efforts where they are needed most, ensuring that the same love that nurtured Kendi now nourishes a new generation.
